The Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and customer‑focused Workplace Facilities Assistant to support day‑to‑day office operations across a professional corporate environment. This role is part of a high‑performing Workplace team and is responsible for ensuring the office remains safe, presentable, and well‑supported for employees, visitors, and stakeholders.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Office operations — Resolve daily workplace issues and escalate where appropriate.

  • Workplace presentation — Maintain cleanliness across office, kitchen, and shared spaces.

  • Supplies management — Order, restock, and monitor consumables and office supplies.

  • Meeting & event support — Set up rooms, move furniture, organise catering, and maintain room tidiness.

  • Reception coverage — Provide front‑of‑house support including calls, visitor management, and courier handling.

  • Vendor coordination — Liaise with building management and external service providers.

  • Safety & emergency roles — Act as First Aid Officer and Evacuation Warden.

  • AV support — Assist with basic meeting room technology and troubleshooting.

  • Perform additional duties as directed by the Workplace Facilities Manager.

 

About You

  • Experience in a corporate or professional environment

  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive work ethic

  • Professional presentation and communication skills

  • Customer‑service mindset with the ability to build strong relationships

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • General knowledge of IT systems and workplace technologies

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively

  • Physically capable of performing manual tasks (e.g., furniture movement)
