Marketing and Internal Communications Lead

Our team is growing and we're looking for a full-time Marketing and Internal Communications Lead to join us in our Melbourne CBD office.

This is a role for someone who enjoys variety and wants to be at the centre of how a large organisation connects with both its people and the market. You’ll play an important part in shaping how ISS communicates across Australia and New Zealand, helping ensure our story is clear, consistent and engaging.

Working closely with our marketing and communications team, you’ll contribute across both internal communication and external marketing. That means helping bring campaigns to life, supporting leadership communication and organisational initiatives, and strengthening how we show up across our digital channels including web, social media and campaign activity.

Some days will see you helping shape campaign or positioning work, contributing to brand initiatives or improving our digital presence. Other days you’ll be hands-on creating content, managing digital and social campaigns, or supporting communications that build connection, confidence and momentum across the business.

It’s a role that sits right at the intersection of storytelling, digital engagement and internal communication, helping ensure ISS communicates clearly and consistently with both our people and the market.

💡 Key Responsibilities

• Develop marketing and communications campaigns aligned with business priorities
• Manage content across website, digital marketing and social channels
• Support leaders with campaign messaging, positioning and brand initiatives
• Deliver leadership communication and support key organisational initiatives
• Partner with People & Culture on employee engagement campaigns and internal communication
• Create engaging content across internal and external channels
• Develop case studies, campaign content and leadership messaging
• Capture authentic stories from our people, sites and clients
• Support bids and client engagement by developing compelling narratives and collateral
• Manage projects across digital, social and internal channels, ensuring quality and timely delivery

✨ What we are looking for

We’re looking for someone who brings a mix of marketing capability, communication judgement and practical delivery.

You’ll likely bring:

• Experience across both marketing and internal communications
• Strong writing, digital content and storytelling skills
• Confidence working with stakeholders across different parts of a business
• The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
• Experience supporting campaigns, projects or major initiatives
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage several priorities at once

Experience in complex or operational environments such as large organisations, multi-site operations or contract-based services is helpful but not essential.
