We are currently seeking an exceptional and driven financial professional looking to expand their knowledge and experience to join our team. Supporting a nationwide FMCG contract within our Facility Management division, this role will work closely with the operational team to support the day-to-day management of all finance and administration matters.

This role will be offered as a Full Time permanent opportunity to be based at our Macquarie Park head office and at our client site at Rhodes

Occasional site visits to other client site locations around Sydney will be required.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the consistent and accurate analysis of financial reporting, to inform our client’s operational performance and decision-making. You will demonstrate strong leadership and a willingness to foster and embrace change as a strategic partner.

 

A snapshot of what you will do:

  • Building and maintaining a business partnership with the ISS and client operations team include training operational teams on reporting tools 
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis of P&L to identify performance enhancements including improvement of reporting tools to guide manager to meet their profit target
  • Manage the month end process include, P&L reporting, raise issues, prepare financial analysis and portfolio changes
  • Review monthly P&L reporting for missed revenue, costs, etc
  • Preparation of estimate and budget templates and management of day-to-day timetable and regional submissions
  • Continuous review of risks and opportunities on the account
  • Develop and present business cases for additional work
  • Understand and drive the strategic outcomes of the contract
  • Consultation with Regional Finance/Operations regarding performance improvement initiatives

Alongside your ability to influence a diverse range of stakeholders, you will present with:

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business or Commerce
  • CPA or CA qualification
  • Ability to self-manage, work cooperatively and collaboratively with others and have a flexible approach to function effectively under pressure
  • Ability to problem solve and work to tight deadlines & timelines
  • Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to consult effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Ability to provide the highest level of customer service in a continually changing environment with a strong emphasis on consistency and flexibility
  • Solutions focused approach and able to identify opportunities to add value
  • Energetic, passionate and leads by example
  • Ability to communicate with confidence and respect for others
  • Proven ability to use own judgement to effectively manage workloads, take responsibility for and prioritise tasks and clearly communicate when undertaking and delivering outcomes and services
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Developing others
  • Solving problems and making decision
  • Experience in the delivery of presentations to various work groups 
  • Experience in facility management organisations dealing with finance and operations is highly desirable  
  • Experience with Navision GL system and Tririga is highly desirable
