Regional Finance Manager

We’re looking for a driven and experienced Regional Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of a large client with multiple sites across South Australia and Western Australia.

Reporting to the GM Finance, the role will involve monitoring expenditures, preparing financial reports, maintaining inventories and controlling assets for the nominated region.  There may be one or two direct reports, who will require direct management and development.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee monthly P&L, portfolio reporting, management commentary, and rolling forecasts. Support full-year budgeting and financial planning.
  • Contract & Revenue Management: Manage debt collection, price escalations, and contract variations in line with client agreements and company standards.
  • Compliance & Audit: Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures, and manage internal and external audit processes.
  • Stakeholder Support: Provide financial guidance and performance reporting to Facility Managers overseeing soft services.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce (Accounting); CA/CPA qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar role managing financial operations across multiple sites.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Proven ability to solve problems, manage projects, and deliver results.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled in building effective relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leadership & Communication: Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication capabilities.
  • Work Ethic & Autonomy: Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.
  • Cultural Competence: Able to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

Experience in a financial reporting and analysis role within the Facilities Management industry is desirable.
