We are looking for an experienced landscaper and horticulturalist to maintain and enhance landscapes across multiple campuses on a Full-time basis, developing and working to meet biodiversity and landscaping management plans and operating to local and federal legislative requirements.

The Position:

  • Manage and direct landscaping teams (both internal and external) to execute site plans, designs and schedules
  • Review and develop Biodiversity Plans across multiple campuses in alignment with Hazard Reduction and Fire Management plans
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding activities involving the coordination of materials, staff, equipment and on-site facilities
  • Ensure cost control and budgeting is observed in alignment with annualised finances and budgetary planning
  • Promote legislative compliance in alignment with both local, state, federal and campus standards

Minimum Criteria:

  • Extensive experience in landscaping and grounds work (Mowing, weed spraying, etc)
  • Experience in a leadership and/or administrative capacity
  • Working knowledge of legislative standards
  • Degree in horticulture highly sought
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Blue Card within 5 years of issue (or willingness to supply)
  • National Police Check within 12 months of issue (or willingness to supply)
