We are seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced technical professionals for an upcoming opportunity within a major national critical‑infrastructure facilities portfolio. This role is central to ensuring safe, coordinated, and zero‑impact delivery of all planned shutdowns, outages, and high‑risk maintenance activities across geographically dispersed sites. 

As the Critical Infrastructure Outage Planning Specialist, you will take full ownership of outage planning from initial scope through to execution and close‑out, acting as the single point of coordination between internal teams, specialist contractors, and network operations stakeholders. 

 The Position:

    • Lead end‑to‑end planning and coordination of shutdowns, outages, and high‑risk works 

    • Manage Change Requests, approval workflows, and associated documentation 

    • Develop, review, and maintain Method of Procedure (MOP) documents and back‑out plans 

    • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and network operations centres 

    • Maintain real‑time situational awareness during live outage execution 

    • Ensure all works meet stringent safety, permit, and compliance requirements 

    • Uphold Zero Harm principles across all work packages

Minimum Criteria:

    • Experience in outage/shutdown planning within critical infrastructure or telecommunications 

    • Strong understanding of change management processes 

    • High‑risk work coordination experience (SWMS, PTW, confined space, energised work) 

    • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills 

    • Ability to manage multiple concurrent work packages under pressure
