We have exciting opportunities for Test and Tag Officers, who will be responsible for Maintaining compliance with electrical testing and tagging requirements & updating the electronic reporting system and schedule and conduct compliance site audits, to ensure high-quality standards and comply with all contractual obligations, including industry standards and best practices.
This 12 month fixed term contract (with possibility of extension), will work from our offices across the area from Tea Gardens to Coffs Harbour (such as Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour), travelling across the region.
A company vehicle will be provided.
As the Test and Tagging Officer your role will entail a multitude of tasks related to Quality and Compliance, Auditing, WHS and operational Requirements, both legislated and contractual compliance requirements are met and maintained across all sites and site types.
Your duties and responsibilities will entail:
- Compliance inspections at all Government Sites (schools and government buildings – police stations, ambulance stations, etc) across the North Coast region (from Tea Gardens to Coffs Harbour) to ensure adherence contract and legislative requirements.
- Conduct and maintain testing and tagging of all equipment (including RCD units) on site to ensure currency and legal obligations are met
- Pick up and deliver repaired equipment
- Ensure any new or repaired equipment placed on site is inspected and if required tested and tagged and is verified as safe for use
- Conduct minor, non-electrical, equipment repairs
- Enter testing and tagging information into database
- Ensure Site Plant and Equipment Registers/Chemical Registers are current and correspond to items at each site
- During each site visit check the Site Operations Folder for compliance; including Sign On/Off Book, Work Schedule currency, Equipment & Chemical Registers, SDS, Risk Assessments (chemical and site specific) Danger Tags, etc, using correct documents.
- Monitor cleaners rooms to ensure colour coding, chemical stock/storage/labelling, equipment and materials comply with ISS policies and procedures.

Required skills and qualifications:
- Be willing and above to travel across the North Coast (from Tea Gardens to Coffs Harbour).
- Already hold, or be prepared to obtain:
- Testing & Tagging National Accreditation Certificate, complying with AS/NZS 3760: 2022
- ISS HSE training and accreditation
- Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel and a knowledge of establishing and maintaining accurate database information
- Leadership ability - leading by example, proactive approach
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels Demonstrate knowledge of effective HSE management and how it applies to their position
- Sound knowledge of service delivery best practice
- Sound knowledge of cleaning industry
- A clear New South Wales police clearance, within 3 months of issue.
- Already hold or able to pass a NSW Working with Children Check.
